*SUBMISSION GUIDELINES for the Agent Book Blurb Panel: A book blurb is the persuasive summary found on the back cover, inside flap, or online description of a book. Blurbs intrigue readers by introducing the main characters, the central conflict, and finishing with a hook rather than revealing the ending of a story.
To submit a book blurb for possible consideration by our panel of literary agents, please bring four printed copies of your blurb with a maximum of 200 words, double-spaced in Times New Roman 12 point font, to the registration desk at the start of the conference. Include your story title and genre at the top of the page but please do not include your name as entries will be read anonymously.
